Brochures

Brochures represent a corpus of a little over 2000 documents put together through the course of time by the library. It consists mainly of separate reprints, of typescripts, manuscripts or photocopies of texts and articles sent by authors.
The oldest brochure is a separate reprint that dates from 1877; it is one of the first texts by Freud: Über den Ursprung der hinteren Nervenwurzeln im Rückenmark von Ammocoetes (Petromyzon planer). This brochure, which belonged to Marie Bonaparte, was given to her by Freud himself.

More recently, we have added to this category old booklets of the Encyclopédie médico-chirurgicale, devoted to psychoanalysis by authors like Sacha Nacht, Serge Lebovici, Michel Fain, etc.
These brochures can be consulted on-site at the library or digitized by request.
