Francis Pasche Library in Saint-Etienne
The Francis Pasche library was established under the 1901 French Associations Law. It was created, at the instigation of Marie-Lise Roux, on 27 March (year ?) in Saint-Etienne by Chantal Frère Artinian, a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, Yves Claude Blanchon, head of the child psychiatric service at the CHU in St-Etienne, Hélène Hinze, a psychologist and psychoanalyst, Véronique Leriche, a psychomotrician and psychotherapist, and Jean-François Verdiel, a psychiatric nurse and videographer.
The BFP's project is to promote reflection on psychoanalysis and the work of Francis Pasche, president of the SPP from 1960 and 1964, by managing a documentation fund and organizing annual clinical and cultural meetings.
It brings together bequests from Francis Pasche, Paulette Letarte, Marie-Lise Roux, and Michel Schweich. In addition, there are donations from Francis Moury, Henri Vermorel, Jean-Claude Boucherat, the Sigmund Freud Library, the Groupe Lyonnais de Psychanalyse Rhône-Alpes (GLPRA), and colleagues and friends.
The BFP fund is about 4000 books and journals.
