"We have no idea what will happen to European psychoanalysis" (Fenichel 1945). Two letters from Otto Fenichel to Theodor Dosuzkov.
Immediately after the end of the war in 1945, an exchange of letters between Otto Fenichel and his former student Theodor Dosuzkov in Prague developed, from which two letters by Fenichel have been preserved. The two letters make visible the difficulties of the new beginning for psychoanalysis in Czechoslowakia and Dosuzkov's efforts to catch up with the international developments of the past few years.
