Menopause confronts a woman to a still time, a time of uncertainty. Secret which surrounds that period of life seems to be tied to shame and fear of not being any longer perceived as a woman. That new temporality introduces a crisis period ; it’s also a moment of truth. This turning point may represent for her an opportunity for a new elaboration if she knows how to deal with it. |
